GSSSB Work Assistant Recruitment 2025: The Gujarat Secondary Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has officially released a recruitment notification for the Post Of Work Assistant Class III.

The Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB) has released a notification for 513 Work Assistant (Class-3) positions under the Narmada, Water Resources, Water Supply & Kalpsar Department.

Education Qualification

• a Diploma in Civil Engineering obtained from Technical Examination Board or any of the Universities or Institutions established or incorporated by or under the Central or State Act in India; or any other educational institutions recognised as such or declared as deemed to be a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956; OR Posses an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
• Provided that the candidate holding Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering shall not be eligible to apply.”
• basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules, 1967: and
• adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

Age Limit:

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 33 years
• Age relaxation is applicable as per Gujarat government norms for reserved categories.

Pay Scale:

• First 5 Years: Rs. 26,000/- month (Fixed).
• After 5 Years: Rs.25,500 – 81,100/- (Level-7 Pay Scale).
