DRDO Recruitment 2025: DRDO, India’s premier Defence R&D organization employs bright, qualified and competent scientists in Group ‘A’ (Gazetted) technical service known as Defence Research & Development Service (DRDS) and offers exciting and challenging career opportunities in a broad spectrum of technologies at its laboratories/establishments located across the country.

RAC invites online applications from graduate engineers and post graduates in Science including students who have appeared in their final semester examinations, through RAC website https://rac.gov.in for recruitment to the posts of Scientist B’ in Defence Research & Development Organization(DRDO), Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA) and to the encadred posts of Scientist B’ in Weapons & Electronics Systems Engineering Establishment (WESEE) Delhi, College of Military Engineering (CME) Pune, Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) Pune, Selection Centre North (SCN) Jalandhar/Selection Centre Central (SCC) Bhopal/Selection Centre South (SCS) Bangalore under Army HQ, Navy HQ, Air HQ, and other units/estts. under Ministry of Defence.

The posts are in Level-10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Basic Pay of Rs.56,100/-). Total emoluments (inclusive of HRA and all other allowances) at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 1,00,000/- p.m. at the present metro city rate. For the encadred posts of Scientist B, which belong to the Indian Armed Services, the emoluments will be paid by them. The encadred posts at various Selection Boards/Centres under Army HQ, Navy HQ and Air HQ, and other units/estts. under Ministry of Defence, are not transferable to DRDO Establishments.

Education Qualification

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering (B.Tech) / M.Sc in relevant trade + Valid GATE Score.

Age Limit:

• General / EWS: Born not earlier than 28.06.1990 and not later than 27.06.2007. (both dates inclusive)
• OBC: Born not earlier than 28.06.1987 and not later than 27.06.2007. (both dates inclusive)
• SC / ST: Born not earlier than 28.06.1985 and not later than 27.06.2007. (both dates inclusive)

Application Fees:

• General (UR), EWS and OBC male candidates are required to pay a nontransferable non-refundable application fee of Rs 100/- (Rs. One Hundred only) payable online only. There is no application fee for SC/ST/ Divyangjan and women candidates.

Pay Scale:

• The posts are in Level-10 (7th CPC) of the Pay Matrix (Basic Pay of Rs.56,100/-). Total emoluments (inclusive of HRA and all other allowances) at the time of joining will be approximately Rs. 1,00,000/- p.m. at the present metro city rate.
