Hanuman Jayanti 2023 : The ‘King of Sarangpur’ project running at Sarangpur Kashtbhanjan Hanuman Temple in Gujarat has been completed. On the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti, a 54 feet high idol of Lord Hanuman will be inaugurated. Country’s Home Minister Amit Shah will reach this program. It has taken one year to prepare the idol and Rs 11 crore has been spent.

The image of Hanuman was installed by Sadguru Gopalanand Swami on Ashwini vadi pancham – savant 1905 (as per Hindu calandar). The image of this temple is said to be so powerful that a mere look at it by people affected by evil spirits,drives the evil spirits out of the people affected. Sarangpur is easily reached by bus or car, as it is only 82 km from Bhavnagar. There can be a long wait at the temple gate sometimes, mainly on Saturdays. The temple is really big and spacious, and the statue of Lord Hanuman is really impressive.

There are many names for Lord Hanuman, including Mahavira, Bajrangbali, Anjaneya, Pawan Putra, Anjaniputra, Kesari Nandan, and Maruti.
On this day, devotees offer special prayers and perform puja rituals to seek the blessings of Lord Hanuman. The day begins with a bath and offering of prayers to Lord Rama and Hanuman. Devotees observe a day-long fast and visit Hanuman temples. They offer vermilion, sweets, flowers, and fruits to the deity and chant Hanuman Chalisa.
Hanuman ji was born on the full moon day of Chaitra month. This time Chaitra Purnima will be celebrated on Thursday, April 6, 2022. On this day, Hanuman Janmotsav will be celebrated with pomp across the country.
